Scoop 1 teaspoon (2g) of matcha into a Japanese matcha bowl (chawan) or round bottom cup. Add 2-3 teaspoons of room temperature water. Using matcha whisk, whip the mixture into a paste by rapidly whisking against the sides of the cup / bowl. Continue to whisk until all the clumps disappear. Add 1/3 cup (90ml) of hot water (or more, if you find the tea too bitter) to the matcha paste. Stir the tea mixture with the matcha whisk, using rapid zigzag motion, until a layer of foam appears and enjoy.
