St Matcha’s “Hayate” is an ultra-premium organic matcha powder made from top quality tea leaves from Kyoto / Kagoshima, Japan. With its sweet, alluring fragrance and bold yet rounded umami flavour, our certified organic Hayate matcha green tea powder is a connoisseur’s choice for making a truly special cup of matcha latte or matcha dessert.
Add 1 teaspoon (2g) of matcha into a standard 240ml cup or matcha bowl followed by 2 teaspoons of room temperature water. Using matcha whisk, whip the mixture into a paste by rapidly whisking against the sides of the cup / bowl until all the clumps disappear. Add your preferred sweetener (1/2 to 1 teaspoon) to the matcha paste and stir to combine. Add 4/5 cup or 200ml of heated milk (soy recommended) to the matcha paste and stir to mix well. Enjoy!
